Licence
Breach Inc., including its story, text, artwork and code, is © 2026 DVRMMR GAMING LTD. Any organisation can use it free for its own staff. An organisation licence adds completion tracking, adaptations and a session deck.
Which do I need?
- Playing it yourself, or with your team as it is: it's free. See free use.
- Running it in your organisation as a facilitated session, recording completions or adapting it: an organisation licence, from £95.
- Running it for your clients: a practitioner licence, from £1,000 a year.
Free use in your organisation
You're welcome to use Breach Inc. free of charge in your organisation's own security awareness and training: share it with your staff, play it together in workshops, or link to it from your learning platform. Two conditions apply:
- Credit it. Wherever you use it, include a link to breach-inc.com.
- Use it as it is. Don't change, shorten or adapt the story, text or artwork, and don't present it as anyone else's work.
The free version doesn't record who has played it. If it's useful to you, please support it on Ko-fi, and please let us know where you're using it.
Organisation licence
For teams that want to run Breach Inc. as a workshop, need evidence of completion, or want to change it to reflect their own policies and processes. Every licence covers every site and every member of staff in your organisation, and includes:
- The session deck. Editable slides with speaker notes for each session format in the facilitator guide, with pause points, discussion prompts, board questions and an action list template.
- A learning platform package. A SCORM 1.2 package that records each player's completion in your learning management system, so you can show who has done the training at audit time.
- Internal adaptations. Add your own escalation names, policies and links to your incident playbook, or translate it, for your own staff. Your copy comes without the Ko-fi links or feedback to us, and player feedback goes to an address you choose.
- The paperwork. The licence agreement, a receipt and invoice for your finance team, and a procurement pack for supplier forms.
Need to show how it supports your obligations? See how Breach Inc. maps to the NCSC Board Toolkit, the Cyber Governance Code of Practice, ISO/IEC 27001 and others.
A look inside the session deck:
- Registered charity or any part of the UK's National Health Service, any size: £95, perpetual. Buy now
- Up to 250 staff: £195 for one year. Buy now
- 250 to 5,000 staff: £795 for one year. Buy now
- Over 5,000 staff: £1,950 for one year. Buy now
Prices are based on your organisation's total employee headcount, not the number of people who take part, and exclude VAT. Charity and NHS licences are perpetual and never need renewing. Other licences last one year and don't renew automatically: to continue after the year, order again. The charity and NHS price is for registered charities, equivalent non-profits outside the UK, and any part of the NHS: at checkout, give your charity number or enter "NHS".
Pay by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay, and add a purchase order number if you need one. Stripe's reseller, Onelink, emails your receipt and invoice, and your downloads appear as soon as you've paid. There's no option to pay later against an invoice. For a group of organisations, or different terms, ask for a quote.
Training providers and consultants
A practitioner licence lets you run Breach Inc. in paid sessions, workshops and tabletop exercises for your clients. It includes everything in the organisation licence, and lets you adapt the game and the session deck for each client, host a copy for the people taking part, and describe your named facilitators as licensed Breach Inc. facilitators.
Practitioner licences renew each year until you cancel, which you can do at any time. Your clients don't keep the materials: a client that wants to keep using Breach Inc. buys its own organisation licence, and you'll get a code that gives your clients 15% off. For more than five facilitators, or to include Breach Inc. in a self-paced course or course catalogue that you sell, get in touch.
The legal terms
Breach Inc. is licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 International licence (CC BY-NC-ND 4.0). As an additional permission beyond that licence, an organisation, including a business, may use Breach Inc. in its own internal security awareness and training programmes for its own staff. That use doesn't count as commercial, as long as Breach Inc. isn't sold, or included in anything that is sold, to anyone else.
Organisation and practitioner licences are a separate agreement with DVRMMR GAMING LTD, which allows the adaptations and paid use that the licence above doesn't. If anything here is unclear, ask us.
